Pasfotohokjes, bestaan ze eigenlijk nog? Wat een lol heb ik als tiener in die dingen gehad! De flits kwam nóóit op het moment dat je hem verwachtte, waardoor de rijksdaalder die in het ding gestopt had vaak de meest hilarische foto’s opleverde.

Regelmatig ging ik met een vriendinnetje op vrijdag of zaterdag de stad in. Een aantal dingen kwamen standaard terug tijdens onze shopping trips. Urenlang zorgvuldig kijken wélk singeltje je kocht van je zakgeld in de Free Record Shop, cd’s luisteren bij de V&D, zoveel mogelijk kleding passen bij de H&M én als we dan nog wat zakgeld over hadden, dan propten we ons gezellig samen in een fotohokje en hadden daar de dikste lol.
